Calendaring

Something I **really** and I mean REALLY struggle with is my calendaring. I really enjoy having my paper calendar. So while I utilize Microsoft Outlook to keep track of my addresses, e-mail, task list, notes and calendar, I still like to have some sort of paper calendar.

However, I really miss having a spiral bound organizer/calendar. I don't know why but I really do.

The one thing that has always been a struggle for me, however, is how to most effectively utilize them without feeling like I'm ridiculously duplicating my efforts. What do I mean?

Well, they always have a 2 page full month calendar in the front of the 2-page per week layouts that comes behind it. So, what do you put on the BIG calendar in the front? Do you just list birthdays or just put times and initials and then put things in more detail on the pages with more room?

Seriously, I need help. I feel so stupid that at 37 I still don't have this simple part of my life *together* yet.

  1. I know exactly what you mean! I am trying to simplify and just started using my hotmail calender .. but I miss my paper big 2 page month calender!! It's the same for paper ledger and excel spreadsheet .. this morning I switched back to the paper ledger!! I don't care .. at 44, I'm going to do what feels good to my brain!!

Thanks for taking the time to show some love. I had to turn the comment moderation back on for the asshats that feel it necessary to spam blogs. Sorry for the interruption.
