Thankful Thursdays

I need to find a reason to be thankful today. When you get little to no sleep, it's truly hard to be anything but a witch with a capital "b". I'm just keepin' it real, folks. Seriously. Little man didn't want to sleep until 2am..that's after trying since about 9:30 p.m. to get him to go down. Hungry? No. Dirty diaper? No. Wet diaper? No. Rock? No. Swing? No. Swaddled? No. Gas? No. All the lists were checked once, twice, thrice... the kid just wanted/needed to scream like holy moly for a few hours. It was like... rest... mom was thinking, "Ohhhh he's down." Ha ha! Fooled you... YELLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! So, I'm going to join in this one today and call this time my do-over moment. I choose what kind of mood I want to be in...grumpy and mean or cheerful and thankful. I'm opting for the latter.

So, remember, it’s that time of week again! Time to list what you are thankful for. This week we are doing things that start with the letter “Q.”

• Quilts - I wish I had the ability to actually MAKE ONE but until then, I love sleeping beneath one at night. My favorite thing!
• Questions - I am thankful to be given one of those brains that really makes me question everything ... until I find an acceptable answer.
• Quiet - This is something I revel in. I love serenity. I love calm. I love quiet (especially after last night)
• Quiche - Hubs swears he doesn't like it but mmmm... I love quiche for brunch!
