Saturday 9 - Suit and Tie (Mrow!)

Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

Saturday 9: Suit and Tie  (link up by clicking)

1) When was the last time that you got dressed up, or to borrow from Mr. Timberlake, "fixed up to the nines?"  I'm a mom.  I drive a minivan and usualy feel lucky to obtain a shower or have time to put on mascara.  I can't say that I have been "fixed up to the nines" in a REALLY ... REALLY long time.  Primarily because I'm not that kinda girl... I'd rather be where I were comfortable and myself.  So, to answer, NO CLUE!

2) Justin Timberlake is known for his threads. Do you try to keep up with fashion trends?  Absolutely not.  I'd feel so fake with sparkles all over the butt cheeks of my jeans.  Trends are for teens...

3) While on tour, Justin has a cigar roller on call so that he and the band can enjoy a "gentleman's club" atmosphere back stage. Do you enjoy the smell of a good cigar?  They make me want to hurl.

4) Justin appeared on Star Search when still in grade school, and he's been working ever since. When Crazy Sam was that age, her only "job" was to load the dishwasher and for this she earned her $1/day allowance. Did you work when you were a kid?  Absolutely.  My grandmother owned a ceramic shop that supplied all the pieces (think decor, dishes, vases, etc.) for an interior decorator warehouse.  They shopped there to finish out their model homes for builders.  This was junior high through high school.

5) JT has appeared several times on Saturday Night Live, a show that premiered before he was born. Who is your most favorite ever SNL castmember of all time?  Wow, I'm old school when it comes to SNL... Eddie Murphy... Chevy Chase... Dan Ackroid... Bill Murray... Steve Martin... Gilda Radner... But I did like Chris Farley... in a van...down by the river.

6) Justin is a very good golfer (6 handicap). Will you play this summer?  Golf?  Nope.

7) A round of golf requires hours outside in the elements. Have you ever endured a painful sunburn?  Unfortunately, yes.  I'm not a big fan of the sun.  I appreciate a tan but I don't want to be in the sun to get one so I never have a tan and always look like some anemic broad who is probably Nosferatu.  However, I found these cool t-shirts online and so maybe I'm in the middle of a trend... damnit!

8) When they were young, Justin dated Britney Spears. Obviously, it's been easy for him to keep up with her successes and problems over the years. Do you wonder how one of your exes is doing?  Yes.

9) Ever since his days with N'Sync, Justin Timberlake has supported music education. Did your grade school offer music classes? If so, do you remember any of the songs you learned then?  Yes.  Elementary school.  Mrs. Patrick was the music teacher.

I can spell hip.  H-I-P
I can spell pot.  P-O-T
I can spell mess.  M-E-S-S
but I can't spell hippopotamus

H-I-P-P-O I know
and then comes P-O-T
but that's as far as I can go
and it sure bothers me

Well, I can spell hip.  H-I-P
I can spell pot.  P-O-T
I can spell mess.  M-E-S-S
but I can't spell hippopotamus

Oh yes... I still remember that little gem from what... maybe second or third grade... LOL

I completely agree with you about being in the sun. Hate it! I also loved Chevy Chase and Jane Curtain in the weekly news report.

Old school SNL was definitely the best, can't stay up for it anymore.

Loved the hippo song. And it's hard to explain to young-uns that Chevy was once really funny, and cute!

hahaha!! Yep, definitely twins! I am very pale. I prefer to stay out of the sun, thank you. I also can not remember the time I wasn't in shirt/jeans or shorts combo. Dressing up is wearing a v neck Disney shirt instead of a crew neck! ha! Don't even get me started on my hair.

Yes, SNL was awesome with the Chris Farley, David Spade, Adam Sandler bunch. I miss those days of SNL.

My favorite animal is the hippo, so you just made a friend for life (as if you didn't already).
