Sunday Stealing

The guys at Sunday Stealing have a hefty one this week. I have maintained their nomenclature. Here goes nuttin'...

26. Have you ever been stung by a bee? No, and truth be known, I have never been stung by anything that flies and has potential to sting. In fact, if something that buzzes and stings even comes near me you will know because I will be the one running away in a panic screaming as if Godzilla himself were after me. I don't "do" flying, stinging creatures.

27. What's the sickest you've ever been? I remember one year when I was in high school and my parents were out of town hunting. My sister was to take me to school. I was so exhausted, I couldn't get out of bed. They'd left on Friday and by Monday I was so ill, I don't think I'd eaten all weekend and I really don't think I left the bed either. My sister was so afraid I was going to die that she basically carried me to her car and took me to the doctor's office. It was at that time that he said that I had Epbstein Barr Syndrome (or chronic fatigue syndrome). I thought that was so weird. I still don't even know if I believe in it but??? Oh well. I know they asked me to pee in a cup then said it wasn't "clear" enough and wanted me to go again. I'm like, that was ALL the liquid in my system period. They took blood and then I went to the bathroom to TRY to pee again... and passed out on the toilet. Not my finest moment, for sure.

28. What's your favorite form of exercise? I really don't like exercise. I think those people that are the "fitness gurus" that have overcome obesity and are now experts and personal trainers just surrender one addiction for the next. However, if I HAVE to exercise, I really enjoy running (as long as I have a REALLY good support system for "the girls"). :) Mary, you'll remember this comment, won't ya? LOL Based on my current abode I can't say hiking, because that'd be #2 on the list. :) There's really no where around here TO hike.

29. What's your favorite Cyndi Lauper song? She Bop or Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

30. What did you do for your 13th birthday? You're freakin' kidding, right? I have no idea... I think it was my 12th or 13th birthday that I had a sleepover at the house but I can't be sure. Dude, I don't even remember what I ate for breakfast TODAY and you want me to remember my 13th birthday? Wow, you're smokin' something.

31. Are you afraid of heights? No, but it's not like I've ever been anywhere super high where it was an issue. I'll climb ladders, get on a roof. No biggie.

32. Have you ever taken dance lessons? I took jazz, tap, ballet, gymnastics... just like most little girls.

33. What's your favorite newspaper? I don't read the paper. I prefer to get my news online. It's more environmentally friendly.

34. What's your favorite Broadway / West End musical? I really enjoyed Grand Hotel when I saw that. When I was a young girl, CATS was my favorite. I love musicals, however. That's why I'm a GLEEK!

35. What's the most memorable class you've ever taken? I would have to say my high school English class taught by Mr. Larry Colthorp. He was a Shakespearean GENIUS! I also really enjoyed my theater class taught by Ms. Montague.

36. What's your favorite knock-knock joke? Whichever one my children are telling is the best knock-knock joke ever.

37. What's your least favorite commercial? I truly despise all pharmaceutical commercials. I think they're horrible. I really can't stand the legalized tag lines of all the potential side effects, "...taking "Prolaxin" could cause memory loss, hair loss, impotence, weight gain, weight loss, migraine, growing a third toe, growing a third eye, losing your balance, you to grow a penis..." they're all so ridiculous. If you have an issue, take it up with your doctor, don't self diagnose on a commercial. Seriously. However, the "Mattress Giant" commercials with their stupid jingle drives me NUTS AND there is an idiot attorney that preys on people that have been in an accident. "If you're injured, call in the "Strong Arm." He just looks angry and you know--from this ad-- that he's an ambulance chaser. It's annoying.

38. If you could go to Disney World with any celebrity alive today, who would it be? Wow, it'd have to be someone super fun... but really, I wouldn't WANT to go b/c being with a celebrity would cause a mob and you'd never get to do anything.

39. Do you prefer baths or showers? Showers, I don't have time for baths. Besides, my jacuzzi is broken so they're no fun now. Note to self -- get that fixed.

40. What's your favourite newspaper comic strip? Mother Goose and Grimm was always funny. There's one that I've read several times but I don't know the name of it. It's basically one that only parents would think is funny (not Family Circle) but along those lines.

41. What's your favorite breakfast food? I love these little chicken minis from Chick Fil A. The yeast rolls they use are delicious!

42. Who's your favarite game show host? I don't watch game shows to know who the host of any of them are. Back in the day it was Richard Dawson, Pat Sajack and Chuck Woolery. LOL

43. If you could have a super power, what would it be? Hmmm...should I pick something helpful or practical? I'd want to be like Samantha on Bewitched and be able to twinkle my nose and make about anything I wanted to happen. That'd be cool!

44. Do you like guacamole? Does a one legged duck swim in a circle?

45. Have you ever been in a food fight? No, I haven't. Why? You want to start one? I'm far too practical. I think of the mess that it's going to leave and know I'll be cleaning it up.

46. Name five songs to which you know all the lyrics. Walkin' After Midnight by Patsy Cline; Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi; I Won't Leave You Lonely by Shania Twain; Hotel California by the Eagles; Marina Del Ray by George Strait; I'm Just A Country Boy by Don Williams... seriously, I could go on for hours. I love to sing.

47. What's your favorite infomercial? I despise them too! LOL I'm a nursing mother and at 2am that's ALL that is on TV.

48. What's the longest you've ever waited in line? I'm sure as a kid I waited over an hour or more for a ride at Six Flags... but who knows now. My time is too valuable to wait that long for something.

49. What's on the cover of your address book or day planner? A Blackberry logo (that's what I use now)

50. Have you ever taken a picture in one of those little booths? Yeah, a few times. :)
